For those wanting to learn archery in Melbourne, our club conducts a beginner’s course nearly every weekend! Participants are taught basic skills by Master Bowman Rob McKenzie, who has been teaching archery for over 30 years. Beginners can attend as many courses as they want.
Time: Saturday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Sunday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Cost: $20 per person, per occasion.
You need: Appropriate clothing for an outdoor activity.
Booking: No need to book.
Participation is open for all those aged over 8 years of age. Our archery range is flat and suitable for wheelchair access.
Private Archery Lessons in Melbourne
Private archery lessons are the best way for a more experienced archer to take their technique to the next level, or for a beginner to quickly improve. Our lessons for archery in Melbourne are held over the weekend and can be booked in a week in advance. Tuition is given by Master Bowman Rob McKenzie, who possesses 30 years of experience and knowledge to pass on to students.
Cost: $50 per hour.
Archers can use the club’s equipment.

Archery Range Casual Attendance
Archers are welcome to attend our archery range in Melbourne casually to use the club’s equipment, ask for advice and test their skill against others. The cost is $20 per session, and archers can attend on Saturdays between 1:00pm to 3:00pm as well as on Sundays between 10am to 12pm and 12:30pm to 2:30pm. No booking is necessary for casual attendance. Annual club memberships are also available that provide unlimited access to our archery range during the times above.
